The Cavalaire Tourist Office offers a service to put owners of furnished apartments in touch with future tenants.
To ensure that your stay takes place in the best conditions, here is some information to remember:
Rental contract
In everyone’s interest, we advise you to ask for a rental contract with a description of the accommodation and definition of the booking terms (rates, cancellation, arrival and departure times, etc.).
Deposit and Deposits, what is the difference?
The deposit gives you the opportunity to change your mind and get out of your reservation by cancelling it according to the agreed deadlines. You are then not required to pay your commitment in full but the rental company will keep the deposit.
Aaccounts imply a firm commitment on your part, hence the need to pay your booking in full in case of cancellation.
Tourist tax
Professional accommodation providers (hotels, campsites, residences, bed and breakfasts, etc.) or owners of furnished tourist accommodation must recover this tax in addition to the rental costs. It is calculated per day and per person, with minors being exempt.

What does the classification of furnished tourist accommodation consist of?
The Cavalaire Tourist Office supports the initiative of the Secretary of State for Tourism aimed at classifying furnished rentals. For the sake of quality, we encourage owners of furnished properties to enter the classification process, which guarantees the level of comfort of the service. The stars, ranked from 1 to 5, are awarded by decree for 5 years.
